Well, it seems the Performance Revenue Source scam is still up and running. I created this review to help inform you of this and try to avoid it at all costs. I will break down this program and give my honest opinion as to why I can’t recommend this to anyone who is looking for a legit way to work from home and earn extra money. First of all, you hardly know anything about what you’re getting yourself into. It seems that this program is operating out of Canada. Between the capture page and the actual checkout is only 1 click! That’s freaking insane. You can’t even tell what you will be doing, how things work, or even what exactly it is. All you see in the home page are over-promises. One that really stands out is, “start making money tonight”. Oh please. Did you really think it’d be that easy? Do you know how long it reallhy takes to develop an income online? It takes lots of skill, effort, and a little patience. You are NOT going to start earning any income “tonight”. So let me dissect this down step by step so you can get a deeper understand of what’s going on here.

Some Immediate Red Flags of Performance Revenue Source

Well besides the whole “make money tonight” line, there are definitely some obvious red-flags of Performance Revenue Source. The first are the success stories. The photos in these small testimonials look pretty stock if you ask me. You see the classic pic of an older gentleman, as well as the mother holding her kid. The man says “I was almost bankrupt…now I’m averaging about $1,000 to $1,200 per day!”. Oh please. Give me a break. Then of course the mom says “I was in my first 3 months and I’ll have you know I’ve already made $10,000 in sales.” Looks fake to me! Then there are popular social media icons towards the top there, which pretty much means nothing. I’m guessing they’re trying to make you think that it’s going to be as easy as doing work on those sites? No way man.

Oh by the way. Let me explain how images of the older man and mom is not by coincidence. A large audience of the “work from home” niche are retired folk looking to supplement their income and also stay-at-home moms. I’m sure they know the majority, if not a large part of the audience being suckered to click on this site, will be 1 of the 2 here. Not to mention the whole “limited spots” approach they give you next to the sign up form. This is a type of scarcity marketing. It’s designed to get people to act fast or on a whim thinking they’re going to lose out on a special opportunity if they don’t make a move quick.

Many people will find this very appealing. Hey, you don’t have much to lose, right? I can tell you right now, it’s a fly trap. It’s to get your foot in the door and position you to be up-sold over and over again. Once you have submitted payment, they will have your name, address, phone number, email, and credit card number. I have heard horror stories of scams like these re-billing your credit card usually after 1 month for about $30. One thing I have learned from hearing from people that have got suckered into these things, is it is notoriously hard to get your money back! I mean, you might as well as count it as a loss.

It’s Just A Website Setup System + UP-SELLS!

So let me just basically put what Performance Revenue Source is, in a nutshell. You’re going to pay for really, really basic training on how to get a website set up and learn the mechanics of affiliate marketing. Not much else really. You are going to need to pay for hosting for you website as well. The whole $1.95 will start going up, little by little. Oh and best believe you are going to get up-sold by a sales team, trying to get you to invest 1,000’s of dollars in “coaching”. I have heard of horror stories of people losing lots of money, quickly, and really getting nowhere at all.

I was reading on another review blog some comments of one person saying that she was basically getting pestered by a sales rep, pretty aggressively too, to give them her credit card. I saw another comment where someone was having a problem contacting support to get her account canceled. That is very common with these type of programs. Not unusual at all to ignore cancellation requests and refunds.

Conclusion

Performance Revenue Source is going to help you get a website up and running. They’re going to profit off you by trying to sell you “training” to make it all work. It’s just tiny bits of info you are sold, and many bits. I mean, if you’re in the business of taking new people’s money, it’s brilliant. It’s not wonder why some Internet marketers make so much money off new people running scams like this.Let me tell you something. Amazon has no association with this program. I know they use the logo on their site and make it seem like Amazon is going to pay you. That’s not how it works. The only way you’d make money with Amazon is by populating your website with its products and earning a commission if, I said if, someone wanted to buy. Do you know how difficult that is without the right training? Almost impossible.
