I do get a lot of people in MLM visit my site here. Here’s my personal opinion and experience on the matter, and keep in mind, I had been in MLM for a few years. Did quite decent actually, but realized things weren’t what they seemed.
The Reality of MLM
I remember 4 years after I discontinued MLM, I actually ran into my upline at the mall. I had already built an Internet empire by this time and was making more money than I ever had in multi-level marketing. I was at the point where I didn’t need a job anymore nor a boss. I was walking by and heard “VINCE!!!”…and boom. There he was. Standing there with his wife, and son. My old team leader. He’s a great guy. Humble. Intelligent. A good example of a man. I mean, this is the the guy that was “at the top” of our group.
Finding out after chatting for a few, dude was STILL stuck at the same level and hadn’t reached that milestone. After 4 years. I mean, according to the “dream” and “plan”, it was only supposed to take 2-5 years to hit the big level where you’ve “made it”. You’re called a Diamond. You earn 6 figures residuals or more. You can retire. You get the VIP life. You live the dream. But here he was, still trying to recruit and hustle people on a weekend. I think he had now been in for at least 12+ years.
I also found out that my personal sponsor, the most hardcore loyal MLM guy EVER….had washed out and quit. I never thought in a million years he would. This is the reality of these network marketing businesses: there really is no set plan to making it work because people you recruit are unpredictable. My personal sponsor was so loyal. Did everything he needed to do. Went to every meeting. Screamed at the top of lungs at every rally. Brought people to meetings to recruit. Signed people up. But in the end, cut his losses and moved on. MLM highly depends on the people you recruit. You depend on them to take action and recruit more. It’s a crazy, unpredictable game. Sure, it could be fun going to meetings and rallies, chanting positive affirmations, and reading books. But that doesn’t bring in the money.
Why I Recommend Affiliate Marketing To Make Extra Money
There actually is a path to online income. I mean, there are certain things if you do correctly, and if you grind and work hard enough, you will see results. There’s an actual science behind it. You don’t have to rely on another human being to take action and hustle people into a team under you. That’s pretty much how MLM works. Humans are the most complicated beings ever. That’s not the case with a website. Websites have no emotion. They’re not lazy. If you build and market it correctly, you will position yourself to make some money. Bottom line.
Building an online business from home is for anybody. People who are shy, introverts and people who are loud and outgoing can do it. It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter what age either. Old people, young people, the middle-aged, retired folk, students, full-time employed, technically-challenged, whatever. Creating a website is ridiculously easy nowadays. It literally takes 1 minute. All you need is an Internet connection and computer. Within months I was able to “fire my boss”. Of course I worked hard, but it was a lot easier than I thought.
How Does It Work?
The process is very simple. It really comes down to 4 big steps. The only hard part is getting yourself to do these steps consistently. But here they are:
(1) Choose An Interest
(2) Build A Website
(3) Attract Visitors
(4) Earn Revenue
These are the exact things I did to fire my boss, make more money than I ever have, and continue to just crush it. And you know what? More and more people are making lots of money online now. Once you get things going, a lot of this operates on autopilot which is nice. You don’t have to own or create any products of your own. All you have to do is focus on helping your audience by creating content for them which is usually just info. The money comes as more and more people visit your site, you can make money off affiliate programs, ad networks, email lists, and more. It’s freaking awesome.
Wealthy Affiliate Is My #1 Top-Rated Business
Is this a blatant pitch to detour people from joining an MLM company, to join the system that I use. Absolutely. If I could show more people the light so they don’t waste their time and energy like I did, that would be good enough. Wealthy Affiliate is going to help you do all these steps, work from home, develop a solid online business, and have all the community, support, and encouragement you need. You get to truly work from home, have control, and most of all, it’s free to get started.
