My Income Team Review- Something Is Not Sitting Right

Posted by in Not Recommended | 0 comments

One of the things I love about the internet is it allows you to trace a person’s associations with just a few clicks. Case in point: Alan Magliocca who is the person behind “My Income Team”. Now before we go delving deeper into one of his latest endeavors, it’s important to know that he has been linked to various scams in the past. In his website, he calls himself an “online entrepreneur” and “internet marketing expert” and claims that he has helped people “create and grow successful internet businesses.” I know how hard it is to build a reputation on the worldwide web and it should not be anybody’s business to rip it apart without any proof. However, this guy here got involved not just with one but two scams namely Commission Buddy and Banks’ Experiment. The first one is pretty much like the “system” we’re about to review here while the second is into binary options trading. Well, that should tell you what kind of person we’re dealing with right off the bat.

Oh and as of this writing, there’s a complaint against him lodged in RipOff Report and Alan himself made a rebuttal. It was pretty specific and he was able to address some concerns. However, another user comment answered his rebuttal statement for statement and let me tell you, that complainant knows what he’s talking about.

WHAT IT IS

Even if you’re a newbie to making money online, there are several things that should immediately scare you:

  • That you’re one of the lucky visitors and prizes await you
  • That someone will help you make LOTS of money for free
  • That you’ll be given thousands of dollars as discount

In a nutshell, My Income Team (MIT) will give you free hosting and your very own domain and some traffic from PPC ads. Now all that’s made to look as if you’ve struck a good bargain when in reality; you’re falling prey to one of Alan’s numerous baits. Here’s a quick run-through of what happens after you sign up with MIT:

Sign up with Clickbank, Clicksure and Cash Network (Affiliate Networks) à Copy and paste the affiliate IDs to your back office à Relax and wait for the money to start coming in

I must warn you though that there are several products found in Clickbank and Clicksure which were proven to be scams so be extra wary if you decide to join.

ISSUES

  • Personal coaching – Not sure about this though since Alan rarely responds to emails containing queries and complaints, from the feedback I have seen.
  • Too expensive – At the cost of $297, it’s not worth it. Getting your domain can be as cheap as one buck (no kidding!) and web hosting can go for $12 (with FREE domain). So even the advertised price of $97 is still way costlier. Besides, Alan encourages you to pay 2-3 years for the hosting plan which is not a very good idea.
  • Traffic quality concerns – The kind of traffic they promise isn’t something I would personally recommend. I’d always go for those that involve religiously following the latest SEO rules. Although it can be a long and tedious process, they’re still way more effective in the long run.
  • No refunds – With such price tags, refunds should come as part of the package without any question. Unfortunately, Alan doesn’t want to part with your hard-earned dollars.

VERDICT:

My Income Team is a “make money online” product – the just-pay-me-I’ll-do-everything-for-you system. It’s important for you to understand that these automated schemes won’t work if you think long-term. Think of it this way: consider your website as your store. Alan then pays people to go inside and have a look. How sure are you that any of them will buy from you, especially when they’re not even your target market?
