NPD Online Research Scam- Truthful Review

npd_online_research_scamYou might have heard of NPD Online Research because you are looking for extra ways to make money in your spare time and thought maybe doing surveys would be the answer. I’m going to show you what would happen if you were to join this company and whether or not it’s a scam or you can make good money. You might see a lot of positive feedback from other review sites, but are they telling you the truth? If you know me, you know that I’m not the biggest fan of paid online surveys at all. But lets give this company a chance and see what it’s all about.

The Lowdown

There are over 2.5 million members of NPD Online Research otherwise known as panelists and is probably one of the most well known survey sites out there. The way it works is, this company gathers info for companies such as retailers and manufactures and submits feedback to them through these surveys. These companies can then make more educated business plans with all the info and make better decisions. That’s how most of the “get paid to take survey” sites work. They are going to pay YOU for giving your feedback, they collect it, and then distribute it. So how will you make the money?

What NPD Online Reasearch Means For Income Seekers

You sign up and create a profile maybe with some questions you answer about yourself. Then you go on to earn points as you start taking the surveys. Your first two surveys are one earn 25 points, the next to your winter and 50 points, and then after that you will earn 100 points per survey. The website likes to make it seem like these surveys are really quick and easy to do, but from my experience with paid surveys you can expect to be spending a lot of time answering questions and whatnot.

[note color=”#fff7d5″]You rack up “points” as you take surveys and use these points on the website www.sweepland.com where you can cash out, claim giftcards, shop for products, and whatever else. It’s a website that rewards customers who have lots of points. [/note]

the downside that I see here is you don’t get paid in cash, but rather points. This means that you are totally dependent on that website in order to claim your rewards.

Why I Can’t Recommend NPD Online Research For People

so it’s not anything that I have against actual company, it’s the method of making money through surveys. It’s very time-consuming, most of the time you don’t get a heavy flow of surveys to do, you make very little money when you add everything up, and I feel that you can spend the same amount of time developing a full-time income maybe even a multiple six-figure income, by learning how to develop and build a huge Internet business from home.

So does NPD Online Research scam people? Absolutely not. In fact it is probably one of the most reputable online survey sites out there. It’s just that I have a hard time recommending any kind of paid survey site and I just would you why. There are better ways to make money from home then sitting hours and the computer getting paid cents to spend hours answering questions.
