Online Jobs Today Review- Risky Scam Or Not?

Posted by in Not Recommended | 0 comments

Normally, scam sites are so full of hype at first glance that it becomes an eyesore. You see fake timers, sales pitches, videos, and testimonials all over the page. Online Jobs Today decided to go simple and minimalistic, or they were probably too lazy to add anything or too frugal to hire even the cheapest designer. But lo and behold, after you sign up, you’ll see various red flags –from the overused scarcity tactic to the news badges (which don’t mean a thing) and video (spliced and used without permission).

Have I mentioned it’s just a recycled program from an exposed scam?

In a matter of weeks or months, I wouldn’t be surprised if another one popped up looking exactly like Online Jobs Today maybe with a different name and URL. Judging by the look and content alone of the opt-in page, you can already see some loop holes. Even if you’re no expert at spotting it, there are plenty of suspicious things you can find.

Let’s read between the lines, shall we:

  1. The # 1 Work From Home System – That’s easy to claim but difficult to prove. Who ranked them at the top? And is there a chart where you can see which came in 2nd or 3rd? Is there a clickable badge which can prove this?
  2. Start A New Career With Online Jobs Today – There’s no detailed job description and it’s just too vague. What kind of career is this? What do you need to do on a daily basis? How much will you likely earn?
  3. No Technical Skills Required – This is their attempt at luring in a wide range of people – may it be old, young, student, working parents, single mom. That’s basically like casting a net and just looking what kind of fish took the bait. This will also make you believe you’re qualified because, well, there are no requirements.
  4. Enter Your Correct Email Address To Ensure Delivery – Delivery of what exactly? For all you know, they could sell your email address to other internet marketers OR they could spam you with endless offers from other scams. This information is actually so precious to these scammers.

I know what you want to ask next: “What is this about? Is it a platform for some work at home jobs?” It’s been a habit of mine to check out disclaimers and fine print in websites like this and just look at what I found: “Online Jobs Today is not a job opportunity, it is an opportunity for education that can help people to earn money through their efforts.” Hmmm. Didn’t they say “start a new career” earlier?

So yes, what exactly is Online Jobs Today?

How can you possibly earn? Drum roll please. It’s a link posting scam. That’s not surprising. I’ve seen numerous scams just like this in the past and I don’t doubt there will be lots more in the future. Like every other scam, they showcase one particular success story and in this case, it’s Kelly Scott’s. According to them, she’s “America’s Number One Home Business Consultant”. If she truly exists and she really bears that title, you could easily find her name on Google, right?

I did my research and found several people with that name – an astronaut, rehabilitation physician, state farm agent and a Canadian curler BUT no consultant. There’s only one conclusion I can draw – she’s another fictional character created to make people believe that if she can do it, so can all of them.

Okay back to the link posting – this is both risky and not a good way to make money online. You don’t place ad links on webpages and expect it to generate huge sums that can make you rich. No, sir. In fact, you often need to shell out money to begin posting. And even as you start earning, don’t expect hundreds of dollars. IF somebody clicks those ads and makes purchases, you’ll be paid small amounts from all your “clients.”

You see, it’s not a money-making machine and it’s not something that pulls in long-term profits.

VERDICT:

Online Jobs Today has one mission alone – to siphon as much money as they can off you. It’s not your stepping stone to financial freedom. Before long, you’ll find yourself spending more than what you’re earning if you can actually get any money with link posting. Help us eliminate these scams by avoiding them.
