Will Get Paid To Draw Scam You Silly? Honest Review

Posted by in Not Recommended | 0 comments

One rule of thumb when spotting scams on the internet is when sales pitches mention “weird trick” or “one secret” or any of the kind. They often appeal to the inner sloth or greed in us. Someone will always fall for anything that promises easy money – that’s probably why lottery tickets sell like pancakes.

Maybe if I just started looking for ways to make money online, this would really grab my attention. “Like, really? He’s a college student so he’s probably doing it part-time. If I can go full-time, I could probably earn twice that amount. And duh, I could quit my boring 9-to-5 job and since it doesn’t require too much work, maybe I could go on vacations while doing it. Of course, I’ll need to purchase that expensive smart phone with fast processor and impressive camera specs because it will be my “investment” but the cost wouldn’t really matter because I can earn it back with just a couple of photos.”

See what I did there? That’s how your mind works whenever you see any of these get-rich-quick schemes. I totally understand because I was once in your shoes. Well, that was before I accepted the hard fact that it takes more than a few tricks and secrets to succeed in making money online.

WHAT IT IS

They claim you don’t need any experience to do this which I highly doubt because with so many talented photographers and artists out there, why would anyone go for those who haven’t drawn or photographed anything their entire life? But you know, that’s just me. Anyway, through their training (which costs $37 and some up-sells), they will help you learn the basics of drawing and taking photos. After that, you can sell your work to Shutterstock and the like.

The pitch in the photo above is actually pretty realistic. Yes, you can make a decent amount of money with your artwork by selling them BUT not in the way Get Paid To Draw (GPTD) says. And the fact that you have to pay for something you can find online for free is just ridiculous. Besides, look at it this way: if they will help you sell your art, you shouldn’t pay them in advance. They should get their commission once the piece is sold. That’s what agents do, right?

PROBLEMS

There are several concerns I’d like to point out if you’re STILL considering signing up to GPTD.

  • First is, of course, the upfront payment in which you won’t know what you’re exactly getting.
  • Second, most of those promoting this site are affiliates. And get this; they earn a pretty hefty amount at that.
  • Third, this is a Clickbank product and although there’s a refund policy, it doesn’t cover the up-sells.

VERDICT:

Get Paid To Draw is a scam that preys on desperate, unsuspecting artists. You can sell your art (paintings, drawings or photographs) online but if you follow GPTD’s methods, you’ll be collecting nothing more than a few pennies and a couple of bucks at most. There are lots of ways to sell it and at a price that will not only make all your hard work worth it but it will also give you what you deserve as an artist.
