Amazon has a trusted name online as a major player in Internet sales and automated storefronts. So, anything that is released with their name on it and claims to help you make better profits through commissions is bound to sell. But, is it helpful? Let’s take a look at what the Amazon Profit Sniper has to offer.

The Power of Affiliate Links

Affiliate link deals are very useful. If you are running them on your website and someone happens to click on them, you can make a profit off of whatever is sold to them once they get on the site. That means that if you have a site promoting beauty products and they remember they needed a new smartphone once they get on Amazon, you get commision on whatever was sold after they followed your link to the affiliate site.

The E-book

The Amazon Profit Sniper is supposed to teach you how to make crazy high commissions. Since that is a complex undertaking, you should expect a detailed book. The first thing you notice is that no matter which reader you use, this “e-book” really just amounts to a long brochure. It’s right around 15 pages in most e-readers.

The Perks

This is basically a backstage pass to an upselling page. To make it worse, most of the links don’t link to the kind of item it is supposed to. You will get links to what looks like more information, but it is really more products. Most of those products would not help you, even if you already had a good handle on affiliate links.

There is supposed to be a webinar you can sign up for only from inside the golden member’s page. Sometimes these can be useful and will walk you through the steps of the product you are attempting to implement. They may also answer additional questions you ask. The problem is, the link is broken. How helpful.

The sales video is dated back in 2013. The problem with that is how fast the internet marketplace works. 2013 might as well be 1913. Nothing works the same as it did back then. Google is constantly changing and products for e-commerce have to change with them.

It Can Get Your Website Flagged

This software is basically going to walk you through creating a wordpress review site plug-in. Because you are using other’s reviews, search engines like Google can end up flagging you for not having unique content. This is basically a death sentence for your website. If Google flags you, you will not come up in search engine ranking anymore. No one will find you. You will have to start over.

The Bottom Line

When you are looking for new ways to make money off of your website, you will see many products out there. However, there is a big learning curve involved. Getting sold on the wrong product can be costly to the new online entrepreneur. Amazon Profit Sniper is one of those products that will cost you money for no real benefit. With the upsells it could really be quite costly. The members area does not offer any additional help or member’s only perks. The webinar is broken, so there will be no guidance there. Save your money, and do your homework.
