Global Data Entry Scam- An Honest Review

Posted by in Not Recommended | 14 comments

Welcome to my Global Data Entry review. You are someone that is probably looking for a legit work from home income opportunity, right? Well allow me to save you some time and money. This company has been around for a while now and a lot of people get suckered in. Let me explain what I mean be suckered in. When you hear about this opportunity, the first thing that comes to mind is making money doing simple data entry from behind the computer in the comfort of your home, correct? You would think finally you found a real online job that’s going to pay you for doing simple tasks. Well, I’ve got some disappointing news, but stick with me til the end, and I’ll reveal some good news as well. But I honestly can’t recommend Global Data Entry and I’ll tell you why.

How The Global Data Entry Scam Really Works

When investigating further, it is clear to me that Global Data Entry is actually My Data Team, a notoriously poorly rated work from home opportunity. The description and advertising is very misleading. They will say stuff like all you have to do is simple data entry for companies, you don’t need any experience, you don’t need any tech skills, and how you can make $300+ per day doing it. Why people would actually fall for this stuff? I’ll never know. But sometimes you just got to check it out for yourself.

The website says that they’ll provide all the training, tools, and software that you need and you can make lots of money just working 30-40 minutes per day. It says you will have instant access to over 40,000 companies which you would think would mean there’s lots of work available, right? Wrong. It says you’ll have $300- $1000 day earning potential and all you need is a computer, mouse, and Internet connection. Bullcrap. Just telling you know.

[note color=”#fffcf0″]It’s important to know, there really aren’t data entry jobs online for the most part. If there are, they are definitely not going to pay you a lot because of the ability for companies to outsource to 3rd world countries for cheap. “Data entry” opportunities are mostly a lure for you to join and refer others to join to grow the subscription based program that teaches you how to do your very own paid advertising. Besides, there are much better ways to generate Internet income through traffic if you just know the few simple steps that it takes. [/note]

The almost Global Data Entry scam is going to cost you $49.95. The whole “40,000 companies” are nothing more than affiliate programs you can partner up with. The whole $300- $1000/day” pitch is just if you can generate enough sales on your own each day. It’s not how much they actually pay you. Let me tell you how you’re really going to make money. You’re going to have to learn how to do Internet marketing (on your own) and drive lots of traffic and referrals into the same system as you. Then you make a commission for each sale that you generate. If you’re going to try to make money this way, I can tell you right here right now there are much better affiliate income opportunities out there than this one. I would just stay away from the infamous Global Data Entry scam.

P.S. Make sure you check out the #1 affiliate income opportunity if you're looking to make money the right way...

  1. Well . . . I can add to this as being one who almost fell for it too. I am getting desperate, as I am 63 years old and just got laid off. An upgrade in technology made my job obsolete and if I can’t find a job quick, I will be a statistic in the park with the rest of the homeless. Companies do not want to hire older workers these days. I have even had to swallow my pride, humiliate myself and made a Go Fund Me page. But, you have saved me from make a grave mistake. Thank you!

    • Imagine I am only 43 and have the same issue as employers prefer the youngsters. I am living in a European country Cyprus and finding it very hard to find a job online working from home.

  2. Thanks for an honest review. you are doing a great job. May be you should have mentioned some of legit websites for people who can do only data entry or proof reading and editing. It’s my suggestion. Other than that you have done a great job. thanks again

  3. Thanks for the heads up and enlighting me on the “work from home” scams that I have already fallen for. But now I know better.

    • Data entry

  4. Thank you!

  5. Well I took the bait, and now I’m stuck with the program. I got sick for three weeks in the middle of the 60 day money back guarantee trial period; so I lost out on my refund. So now I need to make the best of it.

I didn’t feel it was a scam because for the novice, the step-by-step instructions are fairly thorough. And they insist that you will start to see results if you follow their instructions exactly and that it’s going to take some dilligence, determination, and WORK. Yes, I understand that it’s actually affiliate marketing, I believe, throughout the ten training programs that they offer.

I have yet to make a penny, and I am very frustrated. My main problem started when Craigslist kept deleting my postings. But I’m stuck. I’ve paid for it so I’m in the process of going through the global data entry training again to see if I missed anything. I will be emailing support to see if they can advise me.

One thing I want to point out is that they clearly state that what they are teaching is not posting advertisements but getting the affiliate links indexed in the search engines.

    • Hey Lalema. Sorry you haven’t had the best experience online. The problem with sites like Global Data Entry is they excite the newcomer and teach them “easy” strategies to bring in the money. The problem is these “strategies” are not very ethical and work very, very short-term…and to be honest, are just way too spammy. You’re basically going to have to keep “hustling” sites like Craigslist…because you will get flagged for that kind of marketing!! That’s why you keep getting deleted.

It’s better to understand proper affiliate marketing such as building a home based business through a valuable niche website. People will find YOU…and not the other way around.

      • Well, as I look through the training programs, that’s not what I’m getting–that it’s to spammy. I just think it’s unfair to call them a scam, because I’m not seeing it. So explain to me what you are talking about.

        • I could probably write another whole article going into details about it. Lol.

The first sign that it’s “spammy”, is being flagged/deleted in Craigslist and probably any other classified sites. Global Data Entry likes to portray itself as “jobs” when they are no where near a real job.

“Content Article Typing”?…..getting paid $25 to $50 an article? Give me a break. Do you know how hard it is to actually land a gig like that as a writer?

It’s all a setup to get you to join (pay money) and keep you busy with all the training that doesn’t even work…as you even said you have yet to make a penny. It’s not your fault.

My advice to you Lalema is to start learning the skills that actually do work such as building out a niche website and getting ranked through SEO or even investing into PPC.

          Hope that helps.

  6. Thank you so much for the review I was getting ready to purchase this program. I need to make a steady income and and I would like to do it at home online. I have heard of work at home jobs but I keep falling for all the scams. I few friends of mine work for Direct TV at home, but the training program is 6 weeks during the day and I work at these times.

    • Hey Vince,
You surely don\t know how much pain you have saved me from being scammed by this devil. I\m short of cash and I was actually saving some bucks to subscribe for this mouth0watering job, not knowing that it\s a scam.
Thanks a million bro. I would have been a very unwilling prey in the mouth of that evil shark.
Thanks a billion. In fact, thanks a zillion.

      Ayo, Nigeria

  7. Thanks for the heads up!
